Welsh Early Permanence
Welsh Early Permanence helps children who have been removed from their family to achieve stability as soon as possible and reduces the number of moves the child experiences. By placing these children with foster carers who are also approved as adopters, if the court decides the child cannot return to their birth family they can now live with the carers with whom they have formed a bond.
I was asked to create a video explaining what WEP is and how it works. As the video contains a sensitive and upsetting topic we decided to lean away from displaying visuals which visually show the process and instead approach the graphics in a more factual manner.
THANKS FOR WATCHING!
